Support Worker / Care Assistant

Our Care Assistants, support 10 adults with learning disabilities conditions in a care home environment and work on a shift pattern. Including supporting Daily living skill development, personal care, and working with some behaviours which may present as challenging.

Ashchurch House offers a service to adults who have been identified as having learning difficulties and may also have behaviours that challenge. The home provides twenty-four-hour staff support, and activities are available and planned to take into account each individual's likes and dislikes as well as their level of abilities.

Since vulnerable people need care all the time, we do ask that you work weekends but not all, this ensures our service users always have the support required. This is a full-time role on a 36 hours per week contract with the opportunity of overtime although this is not mandatory.
