Support Worker - Bury, Greater Manchester Area

Statim Healthcare Ltd is recruiting Support Workers to work at Cygnet Hospital Bury in the Bury, Greater Manchester area., Supporting service users with daily living activities and personal care
- Monitoring and recording observations
- Supporting with meal times and social activities
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Providing emotional and practical support to promote independence
- Following care plans and risk assessments

Minimum 6 months experience as a Support Worker in a mental health or healthcare setting
- Understanding of person-centred care and recovery-focused approaches
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
- Right to Work in the UK

It would be an advantage if you have:
- PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) training
- MAPA (Management of Actual or Potential Aggression) training
- Experience in psychiatric or mental health settings

We are a healthcare staffing agency supplying staff to Cygnet Health Care services nationwide. We have ongoing shifts available including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Pay rates from £12.80 - £15.00 per hour
