This service supports adults over 17 years old who require support to live fulfilling, independent lives. The role does not involve personal care but focuses on enabling service users to access community activities, develop skills, and enjoy their day-to-day lives.,

• Providing support to promote independence and social inclusion
• Assisting with daily routines, activities, and community access
• Encouraging skills development and positive engagement
• Helping service users with communication and social interaction
• Following individual support plans and maintaining accurate records
• Being a positive role model and building trusting relationships
  
  At least 1 year previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities
• Caring, patient, and understanding approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet service users' needs
• Willingness to learn and complete ongoing training
