Support Worker

Senior Support Workers play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the people we support and are key members of our management teams. We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Support Worker to join our residential service in Hindhead. This is a welcoming and supportive service with a fantastic team committed to helping people with autism and complex needs live fulfilling, independent lives. As a Senior Support Worker, you will support people in all aspects of their daily lives while assisting the Service Manager with the day-to-day running of the service. Your responsibilities may include:

• Leading shifts and supporting the wider team
• Allocating rotas and shift responsibilities
• Supporting with inductions, supervision and training of colleagues
• Medication administration and ordering
• Supporting people with budgeting and managing finances
• Promoting independence, choice and community engagement
• Delivering high-quality, person-centred support
• Acting as a role model and mentor for support staff
While you will have additional responsibilities, you'll remain actively involved in providing hands-on support and building meaningful relationships with the people we support.


• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker or Team Leader within health and social care
• A Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Experience supporting individuals with autism and behaviours of concern
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for helping people achieve their goals and maximise their independence
