Full Job Description
Cavendish is a 6-bed residential service supporting male adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and epilepsy. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills and achieve their personal goals.
People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including going horse riding, swimming, karaoke and multi sports helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you'll empower adults with learning disabilities, autism, ABI and mental health needs to live life their way.
You'll:
Support independence and personal goals
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
Assist with daily life activities, for example cooking, shopping and social outings
Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing
Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support
Essential:
A caring, positive and reliable attitude
Passion for supporting others
Willingness to learn and grow
Desirable:
NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Social Care
Previous care experience
Basic IT skills
