Support Worker

You will provide patient, proactive and person-centred support with daily living, personal care and communication, balancing active days with calm, low-stimulation time according to her needs and preferences. What your week could include

• Horse riding, swimming and other community activities
• Crafts, spending time with animals and reading stories together
• Having fun, being playful and not being afraid to act a little goofy
• Helping her build confidence and everyday skills
• Supporting peaceful, low-stimulation days after busier activities
  
  Kind, patient and proactive, with a positive approach
• A confident communicator who knows Makaton or is willing to learn
• Comfortable providing personal care and working independently
• Flexible and willing to work a mixture of shifts, including sleep-ins
• An interest in animals, crafts and reading stories would be welcome
• A manual driving licence is preferred but not essential
