Full Job Description

This isn't a boring job you'll be changing lives with care, supporting day-to-day living and joining in with activities like bowling, swimming, walks, and community outings.

You don't need prior experience to join as a Support Worker.

We provide all the training you'll need, along with ongoing support to help you build a career in care.

This role is for anyone who wants to make a real difference, whatever your age, background, or gender (unless the role is gender specific)

You don't need to have worked in care before if you're kind, patient, and willing to learn, we'll support you every step of the way.

It could suit someone who's helped others in customer service, childcare, hospitality, teaching, or volunteering, or someone simply looking for a more meaningful job.

If you're the type of person who enjoys listening, lending a hand, and helping others live life to the fullest, you'll fit right in here.

NB: THIS ROLE IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR SKILLED WORKER VISA SPONSORSHIP UNDER CURRENT UK HOME OFFICE RULES, AS IT DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIRED SALARY OR SKILL LEVEL CRITERIA.

What you need to know

o Who you'll support: Five people with learning disabilities and epilepsy.

o EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES: Helping people enjoy their interests and take part in activities they choose.

o TRAVEL: Using public transport as part of your daily role.

o DOCUMENTATION: Completing daily records and paperwork.

o SLEEP-INS: No sleep-in shifts are required.

o SHIFT PATTERNS: Early shifts (7am till 2pm), late shifts (2pm till 9pm), long days (7am till 9pm) and night shifts (9pm till 7am).

o SALARY: £12.71 per hour
