Job description

Although this job description is correct at present, it may change from time to time after negotiation with the post holder.

Must have the right to work in the UK to apply for this role, sponsorship not available.

Job purpose

For me to be able to get out and about a bit more rather than staying inside the house.

About me

I am a 9-year-old boy with special needs. I am non-verbal and cannot communicate in any way. I also have very limited understanding. I love being out and about in my buggy and my favourite shops are The Range, Asda and B&M. I sometimes like to get out of my buggy—but my behaviour can be unpredictable as I may start to run around. I am very fast at running and can be quite difficult to pick up. I also love sensory things and soft play, although I am not a big fan of loud crowds.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To help me get out and about

  • To go to different and new places, go out on walks and try different activities

  • To help me try out new things

  • Training will be required on how to use his tube to feed

The employee should discuss any problems or concerns and report directly to myself (Dad). I expect the employee to be respectful, reliable, professional, patient and caring and to treat my son with dignity and respect.
