Support Worker

We support a diverse range of individuals in the community and in their own homes - each with their own unique needs and goals. You will generally spend your shift in one place and help people live more independently by supporting with:

Daily living tasks (e.g. meal prep, personal care, budgeting)

Social activities (e.g. swimming, gym, rugby games, concerts - sometimes during evenings)

Building life skills and confidence

Promoting choice, dignity, and independence

Risk-assessing situations and supporting positive behaviour

This is a person-centred role, where you'll be empowered to tailor your support to each individual's needs, routines and aspirations.

You'll need to follow clear, structured support plans and work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

What We're Looking For

Desireable Experience:

Understanding of mental health conditions and behaviours of concern

Experience supporting individuals with complex or forensic needs

Confidence working with safeguarding, grooming behaviours, or MAPPA cases, Honest
