Support Worker

• 9 hours per week 1 shift per week: 4:00pm - 11:00pm with an additional sleep in shift finishing at 9:00am the following day Based on a rolling rota, Includes weekend working Due to the specific needs of the individuals we support [and current legal guidance], this role is only open to applicants who are biologically female. If you're ready to support incredible people, grow your skills, and join a team that celebrates your dedication, we'd love to hear from you!, You'll play a key role in supporting an individual to live as independently as possible, helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, budgeting, and accessing community activities. This is a one-to-one role, supporting an individual living in their own bungalow, allowing you to build a meaningful and rewarding working relationship.
While experience or an interest in mental health would be beneficial, full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed and develop in the role. Please note, the individual is a heavy smoker, however the property is equipped with air purifiers to support a comfortable working environment. Key Duties will Involve:
• Supporting with individuals' hobbies and activities.
• Providing person-centered support for daily needs
• Supporting dietary needs and food preparation.
• Offering emotional support.
• Completing cleaning and administrative tasks.
• Administering and managing medication.
• Monitoring individual medication stocks and finances.
• Bringing innovative ideas to improve team practices and keeping digital records.
  
  A background of working with people with physical or mental health needs is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided.
Please ensure your application evidences experience of the following:
• IT, Literacy & numeracy skills
• Experience working as part of a team and customer service skills

• £25,877 FTE (£13.45 per hour)
• Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift - approx. 1 per week
• Waking night rate: 20% Enhancement from 11pm to 7am
