The Jan Malinowski Centre is a large multi-purpose day service for adults with a learning disability. The service has an excellent reputation for enabling service users by promoting choice, rights, inclusion and independence in each service user's personal development plan.

Our philosophy is that our residents come first, and we are committed to meet individual's needs.

We are now seeking to employ imaginative and enthusiastic individuals to complement our existing staff team dedicated to enhancing life experiences for all users of the service. The posts are 35 hours per week Monday to Friday.

The normal days of work for all posts are Monday - Friday. However, this may also include some early mornings, evenings and weekends. A general guide of the hours would be 08:30 to 15:30 for full-time posts. However, this may vary to meet the demands of the service.

The vacancies are in our mainstream section; however, you will be expected to work in all areas of the JMC on management request. You will work with the team to provide quality and meaningful activities in the centre and in the community.

You shall need to have excellent communication skills, the ability to formulate and implement session plans and act as a keyworker for an identified group of service users.

The service has a strong commitment to staff development and training opportunities, and you shall be joining a highly motivated staff team.

A clean driver's licence is preferred for these positions.
