Please note we require a Female Support Worker over the age of 18 due to a genuine occupational requirement for the people we are supporting making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule. About Cae Deri: Cae Deri provides specialist support to 14 adults with mental health needs, including individuals who may also have a learning disability or dual diagnosis. We support people with a wide range of abilities, including those with more complex or challenging needs. Our focus is on creating a positive, supportive, and enjoyable environment where individuals can feel safe, valued, and at home. As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:
- Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
- Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
- Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
