Support Worker

This isn't a boring job you'll be changing lives with care, supporting day-to-day living and joining in with activities like bowling, swimming, walks, and community outings.

You don't need prior experience to join as a Support Worker.

We provide all the training you'll need, along with ongoing support to help you build a career in care., Whether you're supporting someone to try something new, build their confidence or simply enjoy a great day out, you'll play an important part in helping people live life to the fullest.

As a Support Worker, you'll provide personalised support with day-to-day living, encourage independence and help create a safe, happy and positive home environment.

We're looking for someone who is caring, enthusiastic and enjoys building meaningful relationships while making a real difference in people's lives.

SHIFT PATTERNS

This role involves working a variety of shifts across a SEVEN-DAY ROTA, including weekends, bank holidays and regular sleep-ins.

Typical shifts include:

o DAY SHIFT: 8:00am to 8:00pm

o LONG DAY WITH SLEEP-IN: 8:00am to 11:00pm, followed by a sleep-in, then 7:00am to 8:00am the following morning.

Flexibility is important, as shift patterns are planned around the needs of the people we support.

Our world is built on doing good, being the best place to work, and always putting people first., Crummock Road is a warm and welcoming residential home in Workington, where you'll support SIX ADULTS (one woman and five men) with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to live fulfilling, active and independent lives.

Life at Crummock Road is busy, varied and rewarding. The people we support enjoy getting out into the community and taking part in activities such as walking, swimming, social events and exploring new places and experiences.

£13.45 per hour

37.5 HOURS PER WEEK PLUS SLEEP OVER SHIFTS.

A FULL UK MANUAL DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR HIS ROLE.
