I am a happy, fun-loving young man who loves life and spending time with people. I have complex health needs and require daily support from my family and my wonderful team of carers. I am a full-time wheelchair user and am reliant on my team for all transfers using the equipment provided. In addition to this I require support with all aspects of my daily living as well as support to access the community., Solo Support Services recognises that everyone has the right to be safe from abuse and neglect. I am looking for a caring individual to join my team of support workers who can provide support with my complex needs and access activities within the community alongside my existing support workers and family. I enjoy visiting the cinema and theatre, going to live music events, eating out in the cafes in town, visiting the zoo and the seaside and I also enjoy going swimming. I require someone to support me to attend hospital appointments with my foster mum. Experience is not essential as an excellent paid training package is available to ensure that you are trained to the highest standards., You genuinely care about making a positive difference to someone's life. You are calm, patience and able to build a meaningful and professional relationship based on trust and consistency. You're confident in providing high-quality person - centered care and understand the importance of supporting someone to live life their way. Car drivers with a full, clean driving license are essential, and candidates must meet the requirements for motor insurance purposes. The ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly to include twilight hours both in the morning and evening including short and long shifts.
