Full Job Description

Full UK Manual Driving Licence with own car essential.

You will be supporting five autistic people and people with learning disabilities, including individuals with complex health needs, in Willingham, Cambridge.

This is a highly rewarding and hands-on role where no two days are the same. Your focus will be on enabling each person to live the life they choose, supporting them to build skills, grow in confidence, and achieve outcomes. You will work in a person-centred way, recognising what each individual can do for themselves, encouraging independence, and creating opportunities for new experiences.

You will provide day-to-day support with routines such as personal care, medication, and specialist clinical needs, while also helping people develop practical life skills like cooking, managing their home, and making choices about how they spend their time. Full specialist training will be provided, including areas such as suctioning, stoma care and PEG feeding, giving you the knowledge and confidence to deliver safe, high-quality support.

Life in the home is shaped around the interests and preferences of the people we support. From enjoying Disney experiences and music sessions to trips out, holidays, meals with friends, and time spent in the sensory room, you will help make these moments happen. You will also support people to stay connected with their community, whether that is attending social clubs, coffee mornings or local events.

You will be part of a supportive team, usually working alongside three or four colleagues on shift. While teamwork is key, you will also have opportunities to provide more focused one-to-one support.

Flexibility is important in this role. Shifts include a mix of early, late, and long days, along with every other weekend and at least one sleep-in per week. Due to the rural location, a manual UK driving licence and access to your own car is essential., You don't need previous experience - we're looking for people who share our values and are ready to learn. You'll be:

- Passionate about supporting people to live great lives.

- A strong team player who can build positive relationships.

- Willing to learn new skills, including clinical and specialist training.

- Flexible and reliable, able to work a range of shifts.

- Comfortable supporting people with complex health needs and personal care.

- Confident using basic IT for recording and communication.

You'll also need a manual UK driving licence and access to your own car (due to rural location)

At Dimensions, you'll find more than a job - You'll find purpose, belonging, and the support to thrive. Your voice matters, your wellbeing is prioritised, and your growth is celebrated.
