  • Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:
  • Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting vulnerable individuals in their day to day lives. Each person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and will focus on achieving the best lives possible for each individual.
  • Our Shifts: 08:00 - 20:00 | 20:00 - 08:00 (Waking Nights) Shift Requirement: We are ideally recruiting for a mix of day shifts, with occasional nights. Staff should be available to work across our Flimby, Cockermouth and High Harrington services. Contract: Bank Driving License Required? Yes, with own vehicle (for commuting only - you will not be required to use your vehicle during work hours) What You'll Be Doing You'll be supporting amazing individuals to live their daily lives in their own homes, in the way they want to live them. This means you will provide support in a wide variety of ways, including: + Supporting with personal care + Medication Administration + Home management, including support with cooking, cleaning, shopping and budget management + Daily activities - anything and everything the people we support like to do is something you might provide support with! So come ready and willing to put yourself out there and support with walks along the harbour, going for pub lunches, shopping trips and having a fun time
