Full Job Description

  • Acting as a key worker and helping young people reach their goals
  • Promoting emotional wellbeing, education, and independence
  • Supporting young people in daily routines, activities, and personal development
  • Contributing to care plans, reviews, and documentation
  • Upholding safeguarding responsibilities and reporting concerns
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the home
  • Supporting young people to access community, employment, and training opportunities

    · Ability to build positive relationships with young people, colleagues, and professionals · Confidence using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) · Resilience, adaptability, and calmness in challenging situations · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins · Full UK Driving Licence · A strong role model who demonstrates honesty and integrity · Commitment to personal and professional development · Ability to work under pressure, manage time and tasks effectively · Ability to lone work, and a part of a wider team · Inclusive, rights-based approach to care Desirable: · Previous experience working with children or vulnerable people · Knowledge of safeguarding procedures · Understanding of child development and trauma-informed practice · Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it,

    A Support Worker at Crystal Care Solutions are based in our Care Leaving / Supported Accommodation homes working a 2 on 4 off shift system with sleep-ins, plus additional periodic shifts to cover holidays, training etc, to equal a average 40 hour contract.
