Full Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable Female Support Worker to support a delightful 20-year-old young woman with complex care needs (Kyphoscoliosis) in her own home in Haverfordwest. She enjoys a calm environment and appreciates spending time reading, watching films and engaging in relaxed activities. This is a rewarding one-to-one role where you'll have the opportunity to build a positive, professional relationship and provide person-centred care that helps her live safely and comfortably at home. About the Role Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality personal care.
- Supporting daily routines and promoting independence wherever possible.
- Assisting with evening routines and spending quality time with the client through quiet activities such as reading or watching films.
- Maintaining the client's safety, comfort and wellbeing throughout your shift.
- Working closely with the wider care team while maintaining professional boundaries. Working in the Family Home This role is based within a private family home where there are well-established household routines and expectations. The family are closely involved in the client's care and value consistency, professionalism and high standards of infection prevention. Support Workers will be expected to:
- Wear a face mask whilst working in the home.
- Change into indoor footwear (such as clean slippers or house shoes) whilst on shift.
- Respect the family's established routines and work collaboratively within them. This role is well suited to someone who is adaptable, professional and comfortable working within a structured home environment. Hours
- 12-hour day shifts (9:00am 9:00pm)

Up to £14.00 per hour depending on qualifications. - £100 Welcome Bonus after successfully completing 3 months.
