Full Job Description
Caring for a nonverbal autistic young boy during the school holidays either at home in Haverhill Suffolk or out in the local community. The candidate must be a driver., To support with: - Personal care e.g. changing nappies / toileting. - Constant supervision is required at all times. - Support with all safety aspects. - Assisting with medication - To support with feeding and drinking (help to make food / drinks) - Keeping him entertained and happy at home or either outside. - To build and friendly and trustworthy relationships with the child. - The boy does have epilepsy so you must follow his care plan. - The child is nonverbal and communicates through a talk pad. - The candidate must like dogs / cats. - To build a supportive relationship and take part in activities which the child enjoys. - To perform such other duties as may reasonably be required. - Personal Specification
- Flexible in the hours and times that you can work.
- Experience with caring for children with epilepsy and autism is essential
- You should have knowledge and understanding of risks.
- Be patient, friendly and supportive.

Hours: 4- 18 hours per week / during weekends and school holidays Hourly Rate of Pay: £12.71 Based at: Employer's own home in Haverhill, Suffolk and out in the local community.
