Full Job Description

We're looking for caring, reliable people to join our team supporting two gentlemen in their home.
Every day looks a little different, but the goal is always the same: helping people live the life they choose and enjoy the things that matter most to them.
The people you'll be supporting enjoy getting out and about and making the most of life. Whether it's swimming, a trip to the theatre, meeting friends at social groups, going for a walk, cooking something tasty, or planning their next holiday, you'll be there to provide the support and encouragement that helps make those moments happen.
The people you'll be supporting don't always communicate with words, so being patient, observant and willing to get to know someone is really important. Building trust takes time, but it's one of the most rewarding parts of the role.
You'll support with all aspects of daily life, including personal care and mobility support. Mornings can be busy as everyone gets ready for the day, and you'll also be using equipment such as hoists and supporting with safe moving and handling. Don't worry if you haven't done this before - we'll provide all the training you need.
Experience isn't the most important thing to us.
We can teach you how to support people well. What we can't teach is the kindness, patience and positive attitude that comes from within.
We're looking for someone who:
Enjoys getting to know people and building meaningful relationships.
Is encouraging and patient.
Is happy to work as part of a team and support colleagues when needed.
Is flexible and able to work weekends as part of a shared rota.
Wants to make a genuine difference in someone's life.
Some days will be busy, some will be quieter, but every day brings the opportunity to help someone achieve something that's important to them.
What You'll Get in Return

We offer a range of benefits that you can tailor to suit your lifestyle, including:
Buy and sell annual leave.
Stream - access a portion of your earned pay, discounts, cashback and wellbeing support.
Simply Health cash plan, including access to a 24-hour GP and support with dental and optical costs.
Blue Light Card reimbursement.
Pension scheme and Life Assurance.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role and will be paid for by us.
We review applications as they come in and may close the vacancy early if we find the right person, so we'd encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
We're proud to be Disability Confident and guarantee an interview to applicants with a disability who meet the minimum criteria for the role.
If you need any support with your application or would like information in an alternative format, please let us know.
