About this Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Support Worker to support students with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
You will build positive relationships with students and help to maintain a calm and safe environment.
If you have a background or interest in working with young people, and a desire to empower them, we encourage you to apply.
The role is 35 hours per week, 8.30 am - 4.00 pm, term time only.
A sense of humour and a passion for working with neurodiverse young people is essential.
The Academy of Central Bedfordshire is one of the most successful Alternative Provision schools in the country and has the privilege to educate and support vulnerable young people from across Central Bedfordshire. This is a unique opportunity to work in a trauma informed environment, to provide meaningful education that enables each of our pupils to reach their potential. Ideally, you will have experience of working with young people with additional needs, although all relevant skills and experience will be considered.
