Position: Support Worker Location: Amersham Salary: £16,110 per annum or £13.77 per hour Hours: Part-time (22.5 hours per week) Join our caring team at White Lion Road, a supported living service where six adults with learning disabilities live independently in their own self-contained flats. We work together to create a respectful, inclusive environment where each person feels supported, understood and empowered to live confidently. The Role You will provide one-to-one, person-centred support that helps individuals build independence and achieve their goals. Your responsibilities include:



  • Supporting daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning and budgeting

  • Delivering personal care sensitively and respectfully

  • Assisting with medication and contributing to support plans

  • Organising activities and encouraging community involvement

  • Helping new team members through induction and mentoring


About You


You are caring, proactive and experienced in support or care work. You communicate clearly, adapt to individual needs and value collaboration and inclusion. You work well independently and as part of a team, and you are flexible to cover shifts including weekends and bank holidays. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential. Please note: A minimum of one sleep-in per week is required as part of the role, with an additional allowance of £52.78 per sleep-in.
