SEN Support Worker - Gerrards Cross, SL9 A rewarding Monday to Friday role supporting Elsie, a cheeky, fun-loving, and engaging 8-year-old girl with complex medical needs. Offering £34,300+ gross per annum (£19.80 GPH) Nearest Station: Gerrards Cross (14-minute walk to family home) Salary/Wage: £34,300+ gross per annum | £19.80 gross per hour Driving Requirements: Essential - automatic WAV available on duty Essential: Experience supporting a child with SEN/neurodiversity, PEG feeding, and epilepsy training Start Date: ASAP Hours: 37 hours per week (average) Term-time: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-5:30pm with 10:30 am-2:00pm unpaid break - (Wednesday early finish at 10:30am) School holidays: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-5:30pm with 1-hour paid break (Wednesday finish at 2:00pm) Recruiter Contact: Suhada About Elsie: Elsie, 8, lives in a loving family home with her parents and siblings. She enjoys swimming, farm trips, shopping, cartoons and spending time with family. Elsie has Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy, and a PEG tube for nutrition, fluids and medication. She is a full-time wheelchair user and communicates using an E Tran Frame, facial expressions, sounds and body language. Elsie receives
- 2:1 support day and night, and her team is supported by a neuropsychologist to help manage periods of overwhelm. The Role at a Glance: Working alongside another team member, you'll support Elsie with
- personal care, therapy programmes, PEG feeding, medical needs and daily routines. Mornings involve school preparation and transport, followed by a 4-hour break during the day, ideal for study, hobbies or errands. Afternoons include school pick-up, therapy, appointments, and activities, with shifts finishing by 5:30pm
