Full Job Description

A lady living in Bridlington who has severe dyspraxia, learning disabilities, autism, vasovagal faints, type 2 diabetes, anxiety, and some speech and visual impairment is seeking a reliable personal assistant to support her.
The role is for 15 hours per week. Tuesdays and Fridays. Duties involve assisting and enabling with personal hygiene needs, shopping, cooking/meal preparation, cleaning, and daytime activities.
The candidate should have effective communication skills, good record keeping skills, be organised, patient and understanding.
The candidate must be able to use their own initiative whilst also ensuring that an environment for maximising independence is maintained.
Care experience preferred, but not essential as training can be given.
Training to be undertaken as part of the job role.
Permanent position subject to probationary period and satisfactory references and DBS.
DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post - Cost to be met by the local authority.
