Support Worker

3 hours Friday to support gentleman to a Parkinson's exercise group and 1 hour on Tuesday to encourage/support gentleman to complete domestic tasks and cook a meal.

• Be motivated, proactive and able to work on their own initiative.
• Be patient, caring and understanding.
• Have good communication skills (clear and effective communication).
• Be able to build a positive relationship with the individual to both encourage and support them.
• Be flexible to accommodate the hours of work where necessary.
• Must have use of own car, to transport individual to social activities and appointments.
• Be comfortable with animals to assist with the individual's dog, English bulldog / boxer.
  
  Hours of work: 4 hours per week
Days/Times: Tuesday for 1 hour and Friday for 3 hours. Rate of Pay: £13.50 per hour is employed / £19.00 per hour if self-employed.
