Full Job Description
We invest back into our people, services and communities - because when you feel supported, you can do your best work. As a Support Worker you will support people who have learning disabilities, autism, mental health concerns or dementia with their daily routines to live their best lives possible. We're a multi-award winning charity that exists to ensure our colleagues and the people we support live their best lives. In 2025, we launched our new strategy - Best Lives, Bolder. Find our more Who you'll be supporting & more about the role: You'll be supporting a group of independent adults who live in their own self-contained apartments, while also being part of a warm, social and supportive environment. This is a lively, community-focused service where people enjoy spending time together - whether that's cooking meals, watching TV, heading out for food, or planning trips to the seaside and beyond. Everyone has their own goals too, from studying and building independence to simply enjoying life and strong relationships. This role is hands-on, fast-paced and incredibly rewarding. You'll support people with day-to-day routines, encourage independence, and provide emotional reassurance when it's needed most. At times, you may be supporting people during challenging moments, so being calm, patient and resilient is key. You'll be part of an established, knowledgeable team who are passionate about what they do. The focus here is simple: fun, choice, inclusion and helping people live life on their terms. A full UK driving licence is highly desirable as getting out and about is a big part of life here. Your values: We hire for values, not just experience - so whether you've worked in care before or not, we want to hear from you. You'll be someone who is:
- Caring, positive and people-focused
- Patient, resilient and calm
- Honest, reliable and hardworking
- A great team player who uses initiative
- Passionate about helping others live well
Looking for a role where no two days are the same and you genuinely make a difference?
