Full Job Description

Every day you'll help six amazing people-two men and four women aged from their 20s to 70s-each with their own personalities, interests, and goals. Everyone has different needs, including learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, visual impairments and mental health needs, so your support will vary from minimal personal care to occasional shower or pad support. One person uses a wheelchair and a walking aid. You'll help with medication, GP appointments, meal prep and encouraging healthy eating. Life here is full of fun: playing pool, caring for guinea pigs, going to the gym, visiting discos, enjoying Disney and Dreamworks (especially Shrek!), joining local clubs, and planning seasonal parties, from Easter egg hunts to Halloween parties. Holidays and short breaks are a big part of life too, and you may join people on trips away, helping to create memories that really matter. Shift patterns: Range from early (7am - 2:30pm), late (2:30pm - 10pm), and middle patterns (9am - 4:30pm / 10am - 5pm), with up to two sleep-ins per week and alternative weekend working. Drivers licence: A full, manual driving licence is essential

You're someone who brings warmth, motivation and a genuine belief in helping people live life their way. Experience isn't essential, but compassion, patience and a willingness to get involved are. You're comfortable supporting people with a variety of needs, including providing personal care at varying levels and supporting with mobility when required. You're organised and calm under pressure, able to support with medication, health appointments, and everyday living tasks such as planning meals and promoting healthy routines. You enjoy being active in the community-whether that's going to the gym, dancing at a disco, heading out for a day trip, or helping someone try a new hobby.

Your work, whether direct, or behind the scenes, contributes to unforgettable moments that change lives.
