Full Job Description

We're looking for caring, committed individuals to support people with learning disabilities. You'll help with daily tasks, personal care, medication, and activities-making a real difference every day. If you're passionate about empowering others and want a rewarding role, we'd love to hear from you! Due to the needs of the services, it is a requirement if you are working on day shifts that you hold a full manual UK driving licence as we have manual vehicles that you must be willing to drive. Qualities and Skills Required:

  • Relationship Building: Essential for gaining the trust of the people we support, establishing open communication, and building lasting relationships.
  • Patience and Understanding: Important for navigating challenging situations effectively.
  • Conflict-Resolution Techniques: Necessary for managing and resolving conflicts in a constructive manner., A genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
  • People who enjoy interactivity with the people we support.

    Contract options:
  • Part time - 20 hours per week. Shifts:
  • Days: Varied shifts between 07:00-22:00 (rota basis)
  • Waking Nights: 22:00-07:00 (rota basis)
  • Sleep ins required on days and paid at a flat rate of £64.20
