informed decision-makingSupporting individuals to maintain their tenancy and home environmentCompleting accurate daily records, incident reports and support documentationWorking closely with social workers, professionals, families and wider support networksSupporting transitions, including new admissions and moves between servicesResponding calmly and appropriately to incidents, risks and emergenciesYou'll help create a safe, positive home environment where peoplefeelvalued, empowered and able to thrive.Working pattern:This service operates 24/7.You will work any 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and bank holidays where required.Flexibility is important, as the needs of the people we support can vary day to day.What we're looking for:We welcome applications from both experienced Support Workers and people who are new to care but have the right values, attitude and willingness to learn.You may be a great fit if you have:Experience supporting
vulnerable adults or people with complex needs, or transferable experience from roles involving people support, customer service, healthcare, education, hospitality or community workA caring, calm and person-centred approachStrong communication and relationship-building skillsConfidence working in fast-paced or unpredictable environmentsA proactive attitude and willingness to take initiativeGood record keeping and organisational skillsCommitment to safeguarding and professional boundariesFlexibility to work across shiftsA genuine passion for helping people live more independent livesA Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care is desirable, but not essential.Full paid training, ongoing support, and access to recognised qualifications are provided, making this an excellent opportunity whether you are building on existing experience or starting a rewarding new career in care.Important informationWe are not able to offer sponsorship for this role.
