Full Job Description
- Supporting him with active play and outings
- Playing games and engaging in activities at home
- Encouraging communication in a positive and supportive way
- Occasionally helping with light household tasks (such as hoovering or wiping down the kitchen) if he is resting or watching his tablet
- Occasional driving may be required to take him further afield (reimbursed at standard 45p per mile)
Enthusiastic, relaxed, and confident using your initiative - Patient and encouraging, especially with communication
- Personal or professional experience with SEN is preferred, but not essential
- Happy to work in a family home with two cats
Around 3-6 hours across Saturdays and Sundays during term time - During school holidays, approximately 3 hours per day, though not necessarily every day
