  • Being a positive, reliable presence in someone's life, A Support Worker provides practical and emotional support to individuals who need help with day-to-day living. This can include people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, or those facing challenges due to age or illness., Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene)
  • Supporting with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and shopping
  • Helping with medication and health appointments
  • Encouraging social interaction and participation in activities
  • Providing emotional reassurance and companionship
  • Promoting independence, dignity, and choice
