Full Job Description
The Role: A hands-on role supporting Jack with daily living, personal care, mobility, transfers, and activities. Encourage independence and participation. Support gym, swimming, and social outings. Manage behaviours positively using established strategies. Build a consistent, trusting relationship. Night shifts are generally calm, with minimal support required.
Essential: Experience managing behaviours that may challenge (using distraction, redirection, de-escalation). Strong interpersonal skills. Confidently supporting swimming activities
Desirable: Experience with Cerebral Palsy/physical disabilities. Experience in a family home, Who This Job Would Suit: An experienced, confident support worker who is calm, resilient, and proactive. Have strong behavioural management skills. Be positive, engaging, and consistent. Use humour and initiative to support engagement

Start Date: ASAP (flexible for the right candidate)
Hours: Minimum average 20.77 hours per week, working 3 out of 4 weekends per month. Shifts typically run from Friday/Saturday afternoon through to Sunday evening/Monday morning. Rotas planned 3 months in advance. Extra hours available during holidays and for cover.
