Support Worker

Cygnet Group are looking for a confident Senior Support Worker (Nights) with a passion for delivering outstanding care. Youll be working full-time, 42 hours a week, working Nights only, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at The Squirrels. The Squirrels is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities, who may present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration. • Adults from the age of 18 years
• Individuals with a diagnosis of autism & learning disability
• May present with behaviours that challenge
• May have communication challenges
• May have associated complex needs
• Are subjected to DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards) or Care Orders
Your day-to-day
• Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service
• Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely
• Off er enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
• Safeguard
• Maintain a safe & clean environment for all
