Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic team of people to be part of the Choices team in West Sussex; Chichester, Bognor, Bosham, Selsey and Bracklesham Bay. We have several services in these areas that we provide support to people with a range of different needs and abilities. Brief outline of the role: The role of a support worker is to support the people in our services to live fulfilled lives in line with Grace Eyre's Charter. The role will be based within our outreach services where we support people in their own homes; in all aspects of their lives, such as daily living skills, health and medication, personal care, being part of their communities and making and maintaining friendships. The successful candidates will need to be willing to learn, patient, good communicators and be willing to get involved in people's lives.
The Grace Eyre Foundation is a charity based in Brighton & Hove and the wider Sussex community that has been working with people with Learning Disabilities and autistic people since 1898. Our mission is to work towards being led by people with Learning Disabilities and autistic people to deliver high-quality housing, support and activities in their local communities.
