Support Time Recovery Worker

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide person-centred, recovery-focused support to adults experiencing mental health difficulties. You will help service users build independence, develop coping strategies, access community resources and work towards their personal recovery goals. You will also have the opportunity to deliver psychologically informed interventions under the guidance of experienced Psychologists and Occupational Therapists. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is compassionate, motivated and passionate about supporting people to live well within their communities. Main Duties of the Role

• Provide practical, emotional and recovery-focused support to service users in the community.
• Support individuals to achieve their personal goals and maintain their independence.
• Assist clinicians with the planning, implementation and review of personalised care plans.
• Help service users access community services, support networks, housing, benefits and wellbeing opportunities.
• Deliver psychologically informed interventions under clinical supervision.
• Promote recovery, resilience, wellbeing and self-management.
• Work closely with clinicians, carers and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to high-quality person-centred care.
  
  To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Experience of working with people experiencing mental health difficulties or cognitive impairmentin the community
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, compassion and patience, with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
• The ability to build positive therapeutic relationships and work independently in community settings.
• Good written and IT skills to maintain accurate records.
• NVQ Level 2 in Care (or equivalent experience) and a commitment to achieve a Level 3 qualification if not already held.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use (unless exempt under the Equality Act 2010)., The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
