Are you an experienced administrator with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality support services? Do you thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment where you can make a real impact on the day-to-day running of services?, BPAS has an exciting opportunity for a Support Services Coordinator to join our team at our Bournemouth unit. This is a part-time, permanent role working 30 hours per week across Tuesday to Friday. Further details on shift patterns and salary can be found below. As a Support Services Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of non-clinical services within the unit. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering domestic, catering, and facilities services, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for both clients and staff. Working closely with the Treatment Unit Manager, you will support the day-to-day operational management of the unit, overseeing administrative processes, coordinating facilities services, and ensuring compliance with health and safety and regulatory requirements.,
- Line managing a team delivering domestic, catering, and facilities services, ensuring high standards of performance and quality
- Overseeing day-to-day administrative processes, including staff attendance records and general office systems
- Monitoring stock levels and coordinating purchasing to maintain continuity of services
- Coordinating facilities management, including maintenance, contractors, and planned preventative maintenance
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, including risk assessments, COSHH, and fire safety procedures
- Supporting regulatory inspections and maintaining appropriate documentation and records
- Developing and improving administrative systems to support the efficient running of the unit
You will be an organised and proactive individual with experience in administration and team leadership, ideally within a care or regulated environment. You will be confident managing competing priorities and committed to maintaining high standards across a range of support services., Experience in an administrative role with responsibility for coordinating services and resources - Experience of managing or supervising staff
- Knowledge of facilities management and health and safety requirements
- Strong organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A practical, problem-solving approach and the ability to work independently
