Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Staffordshire Community Secretarial Team. The post holder will be required to provide an efficient support service to the Medical Secretaries in respect of NHS work. To work flexibly with or alongside medical secretarial staff, consultants and other teams when required. This will include cross-site working between the two community sites of Sir Robert Peel and Samuel Johnson Community Hospitals., Typing clinical correspondence - Answer the telephone and take messages and deal with queries when required - Assist in the upkeep of the departmental clinical information and general filing correspondence - Responsible for the regular case note maintenance and accurate filing - Effective liaison with the relevant wards and departments within the hospital and with patients and other health care providers - Responsible for monitoring of generic email

You will need to be a motivated team player with excellent communication skills. The ability to prioritise your own workload effectively and a willingness to learn are essential.
