Full Job Description
The Support Officer will be responsible for carrying out administration and coordination tasks for the ICF's two Co-Directors and, by extension, to the other members of the leadership team including the four Faculty Lead roles. The main purpose of this role is to provide diary coordination and PA support to the two Co-Directors, and to support the ICF's operational day-to-day administrative requirements such as servicing meetings, updating the ICF's social media and other communication channels, tracking and following-up on tasks assigned to the ICF's leadership team, and assisting ICF colleagues in the administration of reports, updates and records.
About you
We are seeking a diligent and committed individual who will thrive in a busy and fast-changing environment. The ICF is new and is rapidly growing, so the Support Officer role would be suited an individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has a pragmatic and collaborative way of working, as the role will involve working closely with both academic and professional services colleagues to ensure that the ICF operates efficiently and effectively. Knowledge and experience of working in similar support roles within a university or a research-related environment would be considered beneficial for candidates applying for the role, in addition to experience of working directly and in detail with colleagues in senior leadership positions.
