• You'll understand the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness and confidently support customers with complex needs to achieve positive outcomes and maintain their tenancy
• Excellent communication skills
• Balance support, safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads
• You'll work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to safeguard and empower our customers
• You'll build positive relationships with customers, colleagues and partner agencies,
• Help customers build independence and prepare for their move-on into the community

• Passion and experience in social housing
• Ideally, we're looking for a candidate with lived experience of homelessness
• Experience working within housing, with knowledge of the benefit system, alongside experience assessing referrals and coordinating support.
• The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach
• You'll support customers across our Newcastle services, helping them successfully move from supported accommodation into general needs rented housing.

The practical bits
• Temporary (8 months), full time (37.5 hpw)
• You'll work Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (with flexibility around working arrangements)
• You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay)
• A vehicle insured for business use (and a license!), we'll pay for any business mileage
