Your role
Support customers with mental health needs to build confidence and reach their potential
Provide a hands-on, high-quality support service
Encourage daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and community involvement
Promote social inclusion and help customers develop resilience and self-esteem
Work with agencies on behalf of customers, encouraging choice and acting as an advocate when needed
Maintain a safe environment and follow relevant regulations and practices, Health and wellbeing support - including Aviva Digicare+ with virtual GP appointments, plus an Employee Assistance Programme offering medical, financial, and legal advice, as well as short-term counselling

Caring, approachable nature
Ability to keep accurate records and share information clearly with the team
Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with customers, families and agencies
Experience working effectively as part of a team
Positive and accepting approach to customers whatever their needs
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
