Full Job Description

A newly formed Humber & North Yorkshire Procurement Collaborative, hosted by Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, will provide procurement and supply chain services to its Partner Trusts, and may extend over time to service other bodies within the Integrated Care System. The three Partner Trusts have set an objective of creating a singleprocurement function which will help support the sustainable provisionof clinical and non-clinical services. You will work at a particular Trust site but may be required to support thewider objectives by covering at any of the Partner Trust sites and will beaccountable to the Trust Supply Chain Manager to ensure an efficientservice is provided in line with the wider collaborative work plan.You will provide a customer centred service which meets the needs ofour customer and ultimately the patients in our care, ensuring stock isavailable when required., You will work as the Supply Chain Site Lead at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the on-site Materials Management and Receipt and Distribution teams, ensuring smooth handling of all goods delivered to site, and day to day ordering and replenishment of stock in our clinical areas.

You will work to ensure an efficient and effective customer focused service is provided for all staff across the site ensuring they can deliver excellent patient care.

You will investigate and resolve a range of problems relating to stockordering and stock availability, chasing outstanding orders as requiredand determining your own work within established parameters, referring to your manager when necessary.

You will lead, supervise and train a team of staff on-site to ensure a consistent service is deliver to stakeholders across the site.
