Supply Chain Associate

Pay Rate: £28,000 to £29,000 (Dependent on Experience) Grade: O Contract Type: 12 Month Secondment / Fixed term contract (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 08:00AM to 16:00PM Location: Birmingham Think you know DHL? We're now looking for a Supply Chain Associate! A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Provide day-to-day support across Planning, Procurement and Operations while developing core supply chain skills through departmental rotations.
• Gain exposure to critical end-to-end supply chain processes, developing the skills and knowledge.
• Bring new perspective, curiosity, enthusiasm and a continuous-improvement mindset to identify and support CI projects across the operation.
• Support the creation, execution and maintenance of transport plans, procurement matrices.
• Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely information flow.

• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels, with the ability to listen actively and convey ideas clearly and effectively.
• Highly organised and self-disciplined, with strong prioritisation, time management and workload planning skills. Process-driven with a keen attention to detail.
• Proactive and eager to learn, with a positive attitude towards personal development and continuous improvement.
