Supply Chain Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Assistant to join our Supply Chain team here at our Head Office in South Shields. This is a temporary role for six months. The purpose of this role is to provide admin support to the Production team by assisting with key tasks within the department to ensure finished goods are supplied "on time" to our distribution centre, to the agreed quantities and timelines. The role will:

• Provide admin support to the Production Managers.
• Raise P/O's and accurately update Production reports.
• Ensure the Business System data accurately reflects production.
• Assist with Sample ordering & delivery tracking.
• The expectation for this role is 5 days onsite, Raise Purchase Orders for samples, monitor and update ongoing changes.
• Monitor and track sample shipments.
• Maintain Sample Tracker.
• Ensure Purchase Orders are raised accurately and in a timely manner.
• Update Production Reports with Purchase Order details.
• Update M3 (our Business System) to reflect changes in the Production Reports & Freight Schedules.
• Assist with ad hoc reports, enquiries and day to day admin requirements.
  
  Apparel manufacturing background.
• Proven track record in Quality Assurance.
• Experience of using ERP system.
• Global manufacturing experience.
• Analytical/statistical strength.
• Very good communication.
• Meticulous and detailed.
• Personable yet persuasive.
