Supervisory Assistant - Various positions
Part Time - 10 hours per week term time only
Grade B, £5,925 - £6,033 per annum (depending on length of service)

Gibside School is rated Outstanding by Ofsted. Staff, parents, and governors all work in partnership to ensure pupils thrive socially, emotionally, and educationally during their time with us. We work with around 200 children, aged 3 to 11 from across the whole borough of Gateshead. The children have a wide range of needs including autistic spectrum condition (ASC), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and severe learning difficulties (SLD). Our aim is to inspire, motivate and challenge all of our children and to build confident, cooperative, independent learners.
We are looking for a number of supervisory assistants who will support with lunchtime in school i.e. assisting with children getting to and from the dining room, supporting meal time and also supervising lunchtime play activities. You will work closely with our teaching assistants and will be able to build amazing relationships with our children. You may have experience from the care sector, residential support work or even through personal experience supporting family members.
