Full Job Description
My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Supervisor to help deliver works on Northumbrian Water schemes in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate must have previous water industry experience and a strong civil engineering background. Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Supervising site operatives and subcontractors.
- Managing day-to-day site activities.
- Overseeing civil engineering works on water and wastewater schemes.
- Coordinating labour, plant and materials.
- Delivering toolbox talks and ensuring health and safety compliance.
- Liaising with the Site Manager and project team.
- Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme.
- Monitoring quality and maintaining site records.
Gold CSCS or relevant supervisory CSCS card. - SSSTS or SMSTS.
- Previous experience working on water or wastewater schemes.
- Experience working on Northumbrian Water projects is desirable.
- Strong civil engineering background.
- Good understanding of RAMS and health and safety procedures.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
