Full Job Description
My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Supervisor to help deliver a district heating project, with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy civil engineering scheme, overseeing the installation of district heating infrastructure and associated heavy civils works. Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Toolbox talks
- Client liaison
- Health and safety compliance
- Ordering materials
- Supervising site teams and subcontractors
- Overseeing deep excavation, trenching, and sheet piling operations
- Coordinating day-to-day delivery of district heating and associated civils works
- Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification
- Monitoring quality standards and maintaining site records
- Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager with project delivery
Black or Gold CSCS - SSSTS or SMSTS
- Previous experience supervising district heating, utilities, or heavy civil engineering projects
- Experience managing deep excavations, sheet piling, trench support systems, and underground services
- Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) ticket preferred
- NRSWA qualification preferred
- Strong understanding of health & safety and temporary works
- IT literate
- Full UK driving licence
