Full Job Description

1. To open and close the center at advertised times ensuring that the standards expected are met and levels of service within the team are consistent throughout the shift. All Opening & Close Checklists must be completed in full and with follow-up detail and action where necessary. 2. To promote a helpful and professional image to the customer and give co operation to any customer requiring assistance, with a prompt, caring and helpful attitude. 3 To strive to anticipate customer needs whenever possible to enhance quality service and in turn enhance customer satisfaction. 4. To give full co-operation to any colleague requiring assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner and to be flexible in assisting around the unit in response to business and customer needs. 5. To assist the Assistant General Manager & other supervisors in maintaining regular and effective communication within the Team and attend unit meetings when required. 6. To assist the Assistant General Manager & other supervisors in quality training and coaching in a systematic and professional way to ensure consistent delivery of product and service standards. 7. To assist the Assistant General Manager in the training of staff 8. To assist in creating an environment which promotes staff morale and encourages employees to have pride in the area and their skills, ensuring maximum efficiency. 9. To promote a helpful and professional image to the customer and give co operation to any customer requiring assistance, with a prompt, caring and helpful attitude. 10. To positively promote sales awareness within the Centre and maximize sales opportunities. 11. To control all operating costs within the standards set under the direction of the Assistant General Manager. 12. To identify and report hazards and maintenance requirements in the workplace and follow up through Assistant General Manager to ensure zero defects. 13. To comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety, food safety, licensing and employment, and to check that members of the Team are also aware of these requirements.

  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience (leisure, hospitality, or retail preferred).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A proactive, positive, and hands-on approach.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Good understanding of health & safety standards.
