You will play a key role in advising clients on complex regulatory and criminal law risks, including internal investigations, compliance reviews, and enforcement actions, both in the UK and internationally. Key responsibilities and areas of work will include: Leading aspects of and supporting on large scale, cross border criminal investigations, including both internal investigations and those led by prosecutors or law enforcement agencies.) Advising corporate clients and board level individuals on allegations involving bribery and corruption, money laundering, fraud, and sanctions breaches. Providing comprehensive defence representation for both corporates and individuals. Assisting with investigations into tax evasion facilitation, financial misstatements, and modern slavery/supply chain, thrive. Working on matters involving cybercrime, ESG-related risks, and complex cross-border compliance challenges. Contributing to the development and implementation of remediation and compliance programs following enforcement actions or whistleblower reports. Delivering complex advisory work across the full spectrum of corporate crime, including bribery, corruption, fraud, sanctions and money laundering. Person Specification Strong academic background. Trained and qualified with a leading firm, with 3-6 years' post-qualification experience. Proven experience in corporate crime, financial crime and complex investigations. Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse and inclusive team. Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to manage sensitive and high-value matters.
