Full Job Description

1 Teaching & Learning
Deliver engaging, dynamic English lessons across a range of levels (A2C1).
Implement Future Learnings Project Based & Technology Enhanced Learning approach.
Support students in developing communication, collaboration, creativity, and digital skills.
Assist students in overcoming barriers to effective communication and teamwork.
Use technology confidently to support learning and troubleshoot basic issues.
Adapt lesson plans to meet learner needs and maintain an inclusive classroom environment.
Maintain accurate attendance records and report absences immediately.
Prepare certificates and endofcourse feedback as required.
2 Collaboration & Professional Conduct
Attend daily briefings and debriefings with the DoS and academic team.
Collaborate with fellow teachers, TAs, and workshop leaders to ensure programme coherence.
Participate in observations and accept developmental feedback.
Maintain professional boundaries and model appropriate behaviour at all times.
Support group leader classroom visits in line with FLs opendoor policy.
3 Classroom Management & Welfare
Ensure students are supervised during class transitions and break times as directed.
Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with FL policies.
Report welfare concerns, behaviour issues, or safeguarding incidents immediately.
Ensure students arrive to class on time and return promptly after breaks.

Future Learning Language School delivers innovative, technology enhanced, project based English programmes to young learners aged 11-17. Our approach emphasises collaboration, communication, creativity, and digital literacy through Project Based & Technology Enhanced Learning.
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated English language teachers to deliver engaging, student centred English lessons using Future Learnings Project Based & Technology Enhanced methodology, ensuring high standards of teaching, learner welfare, safeguarding, and supervision., Trinity CertTESOL, Bachelors degree (NFQ Level 7 or higher)., One of the following:
TESOL / CELTA / DELTA / Trinity CertTESOL
Equivalent recognised TEFL qualification
OR qualified primary/secondary teacher with language teaching experience (additional training provided)
Experience
Minimum 2 years teaching or training experience with young learners.
Skills
Confident user of technology for teaching purposes.
Strong communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Safeguarding & Vetting
Safeguarding certificate (Level 1 minimum; Level 2 preferred).
Enhanced DBS check (or equivalent police check if based abroad).
Must provide two written references confirming suitability to work with minors.
Must comply with all safeguarding and safer recruitment procedures.
Eligibility
Must be eligible to work in the UK (British/Irish citizenship or valid work permit).
Must be able to reliably commute to Tonbridge School.

£550 - £615 / week gross $741-$828 / €636-€711
Dependent on qualifications and experience
