Full Job Description

The new appointee will have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced senior clinical team and established MDT., An indicative timetable and Job Plan are set out below. The final Job Plan for the post will be agreed with the clinical director upon appointment. During the day there are three consultants on service - 2 consultants cover ITU (16 cots) and one consultant covers HDU. One of the ITU consultant also covers the transport service. Consultant shift times and onsite attendance requirements vary by activity block and are set out in the timetable below. The night-time consultant is non-resident after the stated onsite period, with backup consultant cover available if needed. There are two consultants over the weekend.
